Learn how to use Datablist as quickly as possible with these keyboard shortcuts.
Note: Cmd/Ctrl means Ctrl on Windows (or Chrome) OS and Cmd (⌘) on Mac OS
General
- Open command bar with Cmd/Ctrl + k
- Use n to create a new empty collection
- Use Cmd/Ctrl + z to undo an action
- Use Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + z to redo an action
- Back or Close drawer/modal with Esc
On the DataTable
- Use c while on a collection's page to create a new item
- Use Space to open drawer for current item
- Use Enter to commit cell changes
- Use Esc to cancel cell changes in edit mode
- Use Cmd/Ctrl + f to search inside the collection
- Use Cmd/Ctrl + c to copy selected cells or items
- Use Cmd/Ctrl + v to paste data
Moving cursor
- Move cursor right →
- Move cursor left ←
- Move cursor up ↑
- Move cursor down ↓
- Use Tab to move to next cell (committing changes when pressed while editing)
- Use Shift + Tab to move to previous cell
- Move cursor to end of row with Cmd/Ctrl + →
- Move cursor to beginning of row with Cmd/Ctrl + ←
- Move cursor to beginning of row with Cmd/Ctrl + ↑
- Move cursor to end of items with Cmd/Ctrl + ↓
Selecting Items
- Use Cmd/Ctrl + a to select all items
- Use Shift and move up ↑ or down ↓ to select items
- Select an item checkbox and click on another item checkbox while pressing Shift to select all items in between
